School Communication About COVID-19 to the Public
Because of federal guidelines the school district is restricted in communication about staff or students effected by COVID-19. After considering input from both legal and health organizations, the district will be cautious about releasing information regarding those impacted by COVID-19. Based on the best guidance, the district will only release information directly to the public when an individual who has been in the school facility tests positive for COVID-19. No individual will be identified and the notice will be general in nature to protect all those involved. Going forward, if a student or staff member is quarantined because of being just a close contact of someone who tests positive, no information will be released unless the person later tests positive for COVID-19.
This week brings us into September. Enjoy a great weekend!

Meade USD 226 is excited to have students back in school for the coming year. Last night the Meade Board of Education approved the "Return to Learn" reopening plan. The plan has different options for learning as well as guidelines as to how the school year will operate. There will be numerous changes that many of us will not like, but to get students back into school and into activities all of us will have to do our part during this challenging time. The link to the reopening plan has been provided. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
