*********************COVID Update**********************
MJH has 62% of the 8th grade and 20% of the 7th grade in quarantine with several new positive cases. The Meade Gating Criteria recommends that remote learning be considered for buildings or grades that have 36.1% or more of the students in quarantine. As a result the Gating Task Force has recommended that from Wed. Jan. 20 through Fri. Jan. 22 8th grade students will transition to full remote learning. Whether to extend remote learning longer or to include the 7th grade will be evaluated later this week. JH activities have been canceled for this Thursday. Minimizing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting students and staff are our greatest priorities. Kenneth Harshberger, Superintendent

Meade USD 226 was notified today that a student and staff member at the grade school tested positive for COVID-19. Appropriate quarantines for close contacts will be put in place as appropriate. Kenneth Harshberger, Superintendent
