Congratulations to our MJH Lady Buffaloes. They advance to the semi-finals with their 21-17 win over South Central. They will play Hodgeman County at 4:00pm on Monday, February 5th. Our boys will follow at 5:15pm, playing the winner of the Hodgeman Co. vs. South Gray game.

CONGRATULATIONS to our 2024 5th-8th grade Spelling Bee winner, Logan Bird! Our runners-up were Axel Antonio-Salto and Kenzleigh Hardaway! Way to go!
This year's participants included 7th grade spellers Axel Antonio-Salto, Sophia Clubb, Teagan Langdon, and Nathan Ritter. Peter Dale, Logan Bird, Wyatt Pippitt and Drake Hollis represented our 8th grade class. Our 6th grade spellers were Rawlin Cooley, Kenzleigh Hardaway, Ava Tacha, and Trey Thornton. Grady Krier, Libby Ediger, Addisyn Ramsey, and Andelyn Reimer were our 5th grade spellers.

MHS Basketball Update:
Due to varsity official availability, MHS vs. SWH basketball game will be played on Thursday, February 15th.
Homecoming week at the HS is pretty exciting and loaded with fun activities! Dress up days, hall decorating, and a dodge ball tourney to name a few. There will be a BIG pep rally at the GS on Friday at 1pm, as well! Hope to see everyone out as we cheer on our Buffaloes 💜💪🦬!!
The MJH SPIAA League Basketball Tournament bracket has been released. Congratulations to our boys on earning the #1 seed! Our girls are seeded 5th and will play South Central on Thursday, February 1st at 4:00pm.
South Central is hosting the tournament so all the games will be played in Protection.

It was a clean sweep for our MJH Basketball teams tonight! They ended their regular season at home, hosting Ingalls.

The MJH Big Read project award winners will be recognized during the half time of the MJH A boys' game on Monday, January 29th.
The Junior High Quiz Bowl team will also host a bake sale during the games. Please come out to support our team and enjoy some goodies!
Your HS Boys are SPIAA Tournament champs!! It was such a great tournament this past week in Dodge! Thank you to all of the fans, cheerleaders, dancers, band members, and players for making the week special. Everybody played a HUGE part in our success!
Leon and Ethel Reimer were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the SPIAA tournament tonight! Thank you both for all of your many years of service to USD #226. We have been truly blessed by you both.
So proud of Alex Zortman! His performance of Brahams Liebestraum no. 117 at the Cimarron Piano Festival this morning earned a 1+ rating. First step on the road to State... and it was a great one!
