👋Say Hello to Our New Principal!🎉
We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Corri McDowell to Meade Elementary/JH as our new principal! 💜
She’s a small-town Kansas girl through and through, with 23 years of experience all at Fowler USD 225 — including 10 years teaching K-12 special education, 4 years of instructional coaching and student support, and the last 9 as principal.📚👩🏻🏫
Her favorite color is purple (which she will now be wearing a lot of), and when she’s not leading a school, she’s baking something delicious (triple chocolate cupcakes, anyone?🧁), traveling ✈️, taking photos 📸, catching some volleyball 🏐, escaping rooms (not classrooms 🤣) , enjoying game nights♟️🎲🧩, or relaxing with a pedicure & a Diva drink. 💅🏻🧋
She and her family are all-in when it comes to community. Her husband, Dennis, is pastor at Fowler Friends Church, and she leads the Fowler 3 C’s 4-H Club. Their three kids — Micah (Junior), Bryce (Freshman), and Chase (7th grade) — are super active in school and local events, and the whole crew loves cheering on the Meade Buffaloes! 🦬💪🏻
Her motto?
Always do what’s best for students❗️
We’re so excited for the energy, experience, and heart Mrs. McDowell brings Meade. Give her a warm welcome — we can’t wait for you to meet her! 💜✨

🎩🎈Dr. Seuss Day + Career Day 2025 = One Unforgettable Adventure! 🚀📚
"Oh, the Places You’ll Go," Meade Buffalo students!
From future doctors and welders to authors and athletes—our Preschool through 8th grade leaders of tomorrow kicked off the day with a Career Parade full of imagination, inspiration, and community pride! The hallways were buzzing with energy as 42 incredible professionals from near and far shared their career journeys and wisdom with our students. What an amazing opportunity to dream big and think even BIGGER! 🌟
🌀After a morning of motivation, the adventure continued with hands-on Dr. Seuss-inspired stations led by our fantastic faculty and staff! From crafting hot air balloons to munching on marshmallow-Oreo hats, playing career-guessing movie games, and navigating Seussical mazes, our students laughed, learned, and had a BLAST!
👒A GIANT “thank you” to our very own Cats-In-the-Hat—Mrs. Ludt, Mr. Bruce, and Mr. Haynes—for being the perfect mix of silly and fun! Hats off to our 6th-grade Jr. Leaders for keeping the fun flowing and our littles engaged with smiles all around! 🎉
👏 We are BEYOND thankful for our wonderful students, supportive families, exceptional staff, and amazing volunteers.
