Please join us at our State Track & Field Send-off! The send-off will take place Friday, May 24th beginning at the high school at 8:30am. Our team will take Walnut Street west to Highway 23. Then they will travel north to the stoplight where they will turn east and head down highway 54 to WSU. We invite fans to be anywhere along the path showing their support for our student-athletes. Our MHS Buffaloes are headed to State Track & Field! Please note the following information. TICKET PRICES: • $10.00 for everyone Kindergarten and older each day. Pre-K and under are FREE. • Tickets are available via GoFan Digital Ticketing. (See KSHSAA State Track and Field page for link) • There will be 3 ticket gates. One gate is located west of Cessna Stadium inside Koch Arena, one is located south of Cessna Stadium, and one is located on the east side of the stadium. (SEE ONLINE MAP for locations) • Tickets are good for one day of competition. • Gates open at 6:45 am on Friday, and 7:00 am on Saturday for fans. • Gates open at 6:30 am on both days for school teams. T-SHIRT AND APPAREL SALES: • Short Sleeve T-Shirts: $21.00 for small – XL and $24.00 for XXL • Long Sleeve T-Shirts: $25.00 for small – XL and $28.00 for XXL • Hooded Sweatshirts: $36.00 for small – XL and $39.00 for XXL • Crewneck Sweatshirts: $29.00 for small – XL and $31.00 for XXL • State Hats and Visors: $19.00 o XXXL short sleeve ($6 extra), long sleeve ($5 extra), hoodie ($4 extra), crewneck ($3 extra) PROGRAM SALES: • Commemorative programs can be purchased throughout the facility. The programs will be sold for $4.00 each. • Patrons are not permitted to bring coolers into the stadium. No outside food or drink with the exception of one (1) unopened bottle of water per person. • Only athletes and coaches are permitted with backpacks. Fans are not permitted to bring in backpacks and/or large totes. Diaper bags and purses are permitted. • Heartland Timing is the official timing company of the State Meet. Johnny- great representation at 2A State Golf! 86 yesterday and 85 today. Played well both days but came up ONE shot short of the final medal spot. Ended up 22nd out of 92 golfers. Extremely proud of him!! Thank you to Coach Powell and Coach Kinnamon.

Thanks a million doesn't even touch it! This group-the Class of 2024-represents 165+ years of service to Meade USD 226, service to the profession of Teaching, service to KIDS! Each one has been an integral part of our culture and will be dearly missed. We wish them all the best in retirement. CALLING ALL BUFFALO FANS... we need your help!! Come line the streets for a send-off to wish Johnny McAtee good luck at State Golf on Monday morning 5/20. They'll leave the HS at 7:15am, head west on Walnut, then north on Hwy 23. Let's come out, be loud, and cheer him on 🏑💪🦬!!

Our spring Athletic Banquet is coming up on Thursday, May 30 @ 6pm. The Booster Club will be providing pulled pork, buns, drinks, and table service. We are asking families whose last name begins with A-M to bring desserts and N-Z to bring side dishes. Hope to see you there!!

Ryker Vieux earns second in the 3200 in a time of 10:25.86 and qualifies for State! Best of luck!

Logan Keith wins the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:24.70. Best of luck at State! Way to go!

Brock Keith wins gold in the 200 meter dash at 22.47 seconds. On to State!

Logan Keith wins gold in the 800 meter run with a time 2:03.16. Good Luck at State!

Anthony Godfrey runs a 2:03:48 half mile and finishes second to qualify for state. Way to go !

Alex, Saul, Ryker, and Anthony finish 2nd in the 4x800 meter Relay and are headed to State next weekend. Way to go Buffs!

Sayler Stapleton ties the school pole vault record at 9’ and earns a fourth place finish to qualify for State. Congratulations Sayler!

Brock Keith wins the 400 meter and qualifies for state with a time of 51.68. Congratulations Brock!

Ryker Vieux qualifies for state in the 1600 meter run, finishing fourth, with a time of 4:42.24. Congratulations Ryker!
