Meade Schools are in the best place with COVID-19 numbers since school started. As of 3/10/21 Meade Schools had NO active cases and NO quarantines. Nearly 65% of the staff have been fully vaccinated. Sub State Basketball continues this week as the boys face Kiowa Co. on Friday night at 8:00pm in the Semifinals! Vouchers for Friday’s game will be made available to participants today and the public beginning tomorrow at noon. Fans should call (620) 873-2981 to reserve vouchers.
MJH Quiz Bowl Results: Our JV Team went (8-1) at Ashland earning them 1st place honors out of 10 teams!
Our Varsity Team ended the meet with a (4-7) record.

It was another great day for the MJH Quiz Bowl team!
Two of our teams medaled this evening. Meade 1 won Pool A & advanced to the Semifinals. Meade 3 won Pool B & advanced, as well.
When all was said and done, Meade 3 earned 1st place, Cimarron 2 placed 2nd, Ingalls 1 claimed 3rd, and Meade 1 took 4th!
Interesting side note....
Meade 2 was responsible for handing Meade 3 their only loss of the night in a super close match during regular pool play.
Boys' Sub- State BB will be Friday, February 26th @ Meade @ 7pm. Due to the fact that this is only one game, we will have 50 additional vouchers for patrons who would like to attend the game. KSHSAA sets the ticket price. You must have a voucher to purchase a $7 ticket. Please call the HS office at 873.2981 to reserve yours. KSHSAA requires spectators to wear masks at all times during indoor events.
